Our History
Based in Ireland since 1999, Garrabridge distributes interior and exterior lighting fixtures throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and the Middle east, with each unit focussing on the unique demands of its own, specific market.
Garrabridge’s open approach allows clients to either select equipment themselves or work with our engineers and light experts to develop a customised solution, using the latest proven technologies.
Roots & Origins
Garrabridge was established in Ireland in 1999 and quickly established itself as an international player. Within three years there were sizeable projects under way across Ireland, The UK, mainland Europe and The Middle East.
By 2010 the focus broadened beyond interior and exterior lighting fixtures, to full lighting control systems and intelligent buildings. The scale of projects, and Garrabridge’s role within those projects, continued to expand so that by 2015 the company was handling large scale buildings, such as a large industrial waste-to-energy plant.
Innovation and the adoption of cutting edge technologies has continued, with integrated light controls and building-wide data management parr for the course by 2016. In 2018 Garrabridge undertook full modular wiring, design, supply and controls for King’s Cross Central T Zone in London. While we’re proud of our history, we look to the future. With a continually evolving orderbook and ever-evolving technologies to deploy, tomorrow looks more exciting.
Technology
Technology is at the heart of the system we deliver. This ensure the client has the most upto date equipment and software available. Software features can be easily deployed as the building environment requires. The Lighting controls delivers mainly DALI 2 compliant devices for optimal integration. Data in inherent withing the system that can be shared via, MQTT, API or BACnet that can be sent to Master System Integrator (MSI) for smart buildings or to a BMS for environmental controls.
